Justice Committee

Eleanor Breland

The justice committee works with multiple civil activists groups including the Pinellas County F.A.S.T. organization of multiple faith groups in an effort to document and prioritize common justice issues, then communicate these issues to public officials in order to faithfully influence county changes.

Meetings start small in the local churches to establish issues to address, then community meetings are held to prioritize the local church issues, then the community meetings culminate with a large annual meeting at Tropicana Field where county officials are invited to respond to the issues addressed.

In addition, the justice committee conducts an annual Law Day Worship Service on the 3rd Sunday in May in which county law enforcement officials and politicians worship with us.

If community activism is your passion, come join us!
